What documents should I bring to my counselling session?

Bring your academic transcripts (SEE/+2/Bachelor marksheets), a copy of your passport (if you have one), any English test score reports (IELTS/PTE/TOEFL), and bank statements if available. Don't worry if you don't have everything — our counsellors will guide you on what's needed for your specific situation.

How long does the counselling session take?

A typical initial counselling session takes 45–60 minutes. During this time, the counsellor will assess your academic background, discuss your goals, recommend destinations and universities, and give you a clear action plan. Follow-up sessions are shorter, usually 20–30 minutes.

Can I book online or do I have to walk in?

You can do both. Use the booking form on this page and a counsellor will call you within 24 hours to confirm your appointment. You can also walk into our office in Chabahil-7, Kathmandu during business hours (Sun–Fri 9AM–7PM, Sat 10AM–3PM) without a prior appointment.

What are your office hours?

Our office is open Sunday to Friday, 9AM to 7PM, and Saturday 10AM to 3PM. On public holidays, hours may vary — we recommend calling ahead or checking our social media for updates.

Is the counselling session really free?

Yes, completely free. There is no charge for the initial counselling session and no obligation to proceed with any service afterward. EVEC earns a commission from our partner universities only when a student successfully enrolls — so our interest is genuinely aligned with yours.
